The Ocean was still feeling the effects from Hurricane Irene. Irene was 1 day past its closest approach to the Space Coast and at this time it was about 200 miles off the coast from Jacksonville. The winds were still from the West blowing the breaking wave's spray out to sea. The setting sun brought out unique colors on the wave.

Moon Shine
Satellite Beach, FL
10/22/2010 7:50:00 PM
Camera: Nikon D90
Lens: Nikon 18-105mm DX AF-S 3.5-5.6
Exposure: 18mm f/3.5 4s ISO 1000
This was about an hour after sunset and perhaps a bit more after moon rise. The clouds and bright moon provided an interesting view. The long exposure almost makes the moon seem like the sun. The stars shining through on the upper left give away the nighttime view.
